About the Role:

We are seeking applications from qualified Mechanical Tradespersons to be part of operating and maintenance of a range Power Stations. As a Power Station Operator Maintainer you will be operating and maintaining reciprocating engines and power generation equipment, including Diesel, Gas Turbine and have the potential to work on Solar and Wind. With over 15 sites through out Austraila, each site provides a different set up and the opportunity to gain experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Routine and breakdown maintenance
  • Repair power generation and auxiliary equipment
  • Power generation and engine management control system maintenance
  • Fault finding and trouble shooting
  • Analysis of power generation equipment, systems and associated auxiliary equipment
  • Preparation and maintenance of internal and external reports and making recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Attend the power station after hours while on site for faults / breakdowns

As the Power Station Operator / Maintainer you will have the following experience, knowledge, and skills to bring to the role.

Qualifications and Clearances:

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Current WA C Class Driver’s Licence
  • A National Police Clearance
  • Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical
  • Right to work in Australia
  • First Aid Certificate

Skills/Ability:

  • Strong problem-solving ability and desire to continually learn
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products including Word and Excell
