The South of Perth Yacht Club runs one of the best junior sailing and youth development programs in Perth. The program is supported and funded by Grand Sponsors which RecruitWest has proudly been involved in since 2004.

The club offers kids entry level programs called "Tackers" through to youth development, training and scholarships.

As we approach the end of 2015 many work places will hold their annual Staff Christmas parties. While this is a good time to unwind, socialise and look back on the year just gone it’s also important to remember that even though you might be surrounded by music, good food and a lot of alcohol you are still at work.

1) Am I an Australian resident for tax purposes (question 7)
2) Do I want to claim the tax free threshold (question 8)

In short, here are the answers that you should follow:

Are you an Australian Resident for Tax Purposes?

- If you are an Australian resident, you would tick YES.
- If you are NOT an Australian Resident you would tick NO. (this includes candidates on Visa’s)

Question 8
Do you wish to claim the tax-free threshold from this payer?

- Tick YES to get taxed at a LOWER rate and have more money in your bank account each week.
